Specific Limiting Statements and Suggestions for Rescinding
______

Statement to Rescind: I am not enough.

Jeanie's observations to this individual:
This disempowering message is located in the energy field of your right ear and neck. Neck exercises while mentally releasing this disempowering thought will further stimulate release. Neck exercises will strengthen this area and reduce the likelihood of colds and other neck/throat/ear ailments as well as easing stuck communications.

The primary behavior change that is ripe for you to stop comparing yourself with anyone else. Notice. Be a witness. Observe. But do not compare. "Better than" and "not as good as" (etc.) need to be eliminated from your vocabulary -- your spoken vocabulary as well as your conscious and unconscious thoughts. If you feel you cannot do this, do an interim step: compare yourself as you are today with how you were yesterday or last month. The best way to move out of comparison is to appreciate, just appreciate.

The statement opposing the limiting belief that resonates most strongly with your higher consciousness is: "I am powerful."

As I work with these limiting thoughts energetically on your behalf, you can also. I suggest some imagery. Imagine angels come in to your energy field each night as you sleep, dusting you off, appreciating you, and clearing your energy field. They sing and play in your energy field while clearing from it anything that is not needed (e.g., beliefs about inadequacy, fears, unworthiness). You don't even have to know what's no longer needed -- just trust and the angels will do the job divinely.

______

Statement to Rescind: I am not good enough to have what I truly desire or to keep it if it does come to me.

Jeanie's observations to this individual:
The abdomen seems to be holding most of this disempowering message. You may find that breathing in the belly will support you physically — this is the breathing taught by t'ai chi and other similar practitioners. It is also the breathing you can observe a baby does naturally.

And speaking of a baby.... It is really helpful for you to re-parent several ages of your inner child. The 3-year-old, the 7-year-old, and the 9-year-old all need to be nurtured into believing they are enough. I suggest working with each one separately so that there is no "competition." Speak to the level of each age. Take each to the movies. To lunch. For a walk.

The statement opposing the limiting belief that resonates most strongly with your higher consciousness is: "I am magnificent." You are most likely to resist this statement when you are in a "not enough" or "not powerful" experience. Such experiences are important to your understanding your power, so you need not move through them any quicker than you are. You may find it helpful to affirm "I am having a not-good experience" or "I am having an experience that could suggest that I am not (good) enough if I decide to believe that." That second statement is a bit cumbersome, but captures the idea I want to convey.

I suggest that you return to the September 1 affirmation following the instructions in the article, "Writing Affirmations for Empowerment." The September 1 affirmation is "I give myself permission to release ______ easily and effortlessly from every level of the energy field." Put in the blank something that makes sense to you. For example, "I give myself permission to release the past belief that I am not good enough, easily and effortlessly from every level of the energy field." Or, "I give myself permission to release unworthiness easily and effortlessly from every level of the energy field." Or, "I give myself permission to release childhood ridicule easily and effortlessly from every level of the energy field." Write the statement 9-3-9, following the instructions in the article.

I will be working with you energetically.

______

Statement to Rescind: I am incompetent.

Jeanie's observations to this individual:
The higher consciousness phrase I hear for you is: "I remember who I am."

Your belief in your incompetence comes from outside yourself. At least, initially from outside. You have come to believe it, quite deeply embedded in your human consciousness. And have set out on many occasions to prove that it is true. Therefore, remembering who you are is not only relevant, but essential.

Here's another exercise: recall an early childhood experience when you heard from someone OR you believed that you were incompetent.

With that single experience in mind, insert a relevant phrase into the September 1 affirmation. "I give myself permission to release ______ easily and effortlessly from every level of the energy field." Do it in a way that makes sense to you. For example, "I give myself permission to release the situation with my teacher, easily and effortlessly from every level of the energy field." Or, "I give myself permission to release incompetence easily and effortlessly from every level of the energy field." Or, "I give myself permission to release that childhood experience of ridicule easily and effortlessly from every level of the energy field." Write the statement 9-3-9, following the instructions in the article, "Writing Affirmations for Empowerment."

After you feel complete with that situation, do another. Then another. No need to be compulsive. No need to overwhelm yourself. But it is important to release the inner child's experiences of incompetence.

At the same time, acknowledge yourself for your competence as an adult now, at least 9 times each day. The size of the act does not matter. Nor does its importance to the world, or its relationship to marketable skills. Just experience yourself as competent in at least 9 different situations throughout each day. Tell your inner child that she has become a competent adult. Point to these 9 incidents as proof. Continue for at least seven days. Or, better yet, the rest of your life!

As I work with these limiting thoughts energetically, you can also. Imagine angels singing and playing in to your energy field each night as you sleep. They clear from it anything that is not needed (e.g., beliefs about incompetence, those past situations, feeling inadequate). You don't even have to know what's no longer needed -- just trust the angels to do the job divinely.
